Since 2023, I’ve owned Chilli’s iOS and web design: user flows, UI, interactions, and the design system. I work with developers and the product team, closely with the CEO and CMO.
Exploring a clearer start to action creation
Creators told us they didn’t know where to start or how to write an action. In the live product, they write content directly. I explored a guided idea-to-draft flow to help them get started.
We tested a working coded prototype with real data. Creators found it easier to respond to a draft than face a blank page. Testing led me to make the editing step clearer, so they could adapt the suggestion to their own voice and check its intent before publishing.
This exploration has not shipped. The feedback comes from prototype testing, not production results.

Creator profiles bring a mission, actions, and ways to contribute into one place. Profiles and memberships are shipped and used by creators and their communities. We continue to improve them through feedback.

Creators needed to manage actions, follow their community’s activity, and understand how to cash out. I made the available balance easy to find and gave “withdraw funds” a clear place, supported by revenue insights and a monthly summary.

After launch, creators told us withdrawing funds was easy. We haven’t received withdrawal support tickets so far. This is qualitative feedback; I don’t have measured results to share yet.
Inbox is also live with creators, suggesting content they can turn into actions. Early feedback is encouraging, and we’re still improving it. It is separate from the idea-to-draft exploration above.
We stay close to creators through weekly WhatsApp feedback, discussions, and user testing. Alongside observations of product use and PostHog analytics, this informs each iteration.
Design system
I designed Chilli’s design system in Figma, then built it in code. Shared components and patterns connect design and development across the iOS and web experiences. I maintain the system as the product evolves.
